Trekkers Budget High Atlas Accommodation.

Dar Ait Souka is the ideal budget accommodation for trekkers and outdoor enthusiasts who want to spend some time in this part of the High Atlas. It´s elevated located offers incredible panoramic vistas of the valleys and mountain passes with the added bonus of being surrounded by awesome peaks, including Mount Toubkal at 4167 metres.

It is furnished to cater for large groups of trekkers, with dormitory rooms with four or five beds, two twin rooms and shared facilities. There is one ensuite double room also. A long salon with a fireplace for cold winter nights is also the dining room with WIFI freely available. Breakfasts are hearty to fuel you for the day’s activities; lunch and dinner are to order. Picnic lunches can also be arranged in advance. The terrace is a great place for the warmer months, breakfast with a view to the peaks and valleys and sunset dinners.

This guesthouse is ideally located just 15 minutes’ walk from Imlil, and if you have luggage a mule is sent to carry your gear. The absence of traffic nearby gives it a peaceful atmosphere, and a feeling of being at the heart of the community. Set amongst terraced fields of apples, cherries and walnuts it has an ever changing charm and beauty set in this idyllic location.

Spend a day or two as part of a longer trek or stay for a few days and use it as a base to explore the area more fully. With three valleys spanning from it you have at least three full days of awesome trekking on the doorstep.
